I always thought people were fulla shit when they said women have abandonment issues because of their fathers. I had two of them, matter of fact, but honestly, neither of them was shit. My real dad would make me promises and just disappear, and my step-father only talked to me when I needed to clean up.

Now, I know why I hold on to people longer than I should, when I have all the signs in front of me to let them go, I can’t deal with them leavin’, so I’ll deal with almost anything, so they’ll stay.
